Alpine status HDZ-65 6.5" 2-way speaker set coaxial

All speaker cones in HDZ-65 is made of the same Carbon Composite material to create a unified sound identity during playback. They come very close to the look and feel of the AlpineF#1Status speakers using a very similar construction and motor assembly, as well as the identical construction materials for the highest sound quality.

Coaxial 2-way speaker system

Drawing from AlpineF#1Status trickle-down technology and materials, these Hi-Res Audio certified speakers deliver the highest audiophile sound quality up to 40kHz in your vehicle. The 2-way coaxial system consists of 170 mm door woofers with integrated 40 mm tweeters.

Carbon fiber cones

All speakers in this set (as well as the HDZ-110 Alpine Status subwoofer) use carbon-backed composite cones to achieve a completely uniform tonal identity – resulting in excellent harmonics. Carbon is very light and stiff, resulting in high dynamics and low distortion. Backed carbon composite technology is also used in racing cars due to its light weight and high crash resistance.

Double gathered edge

Another trickle-down technology from the AlpineF#1Status speakers: the double-jointed rim allows maximum cone excursion with excellent cone control and stability. This reduces sound distortion caused by cone oscillations at higher volume levels.

40 mm tweeter

The integrated 40 mm Hi-Res Audio tweeters sound simply fantastic and play up to 40 kHz. They include an integrated waveguide, reset chamber and a powerful neodymium magnet.
