7” TOUCH SCREEN X703D-A WITH NAVIGATION AND APPLE CARPLAY/ANDROID AUTO FOR AUDI A4 AND A5

Alpine has introduced their 3rd generation Alpine Style system for the Audi A4 (2007-2015) and Audi A5 (2007-2016). This Advanced Navi Station brings the latest media compatibility, touchscreen technology, cutting-edge navigation technology and Alpine's audiophile sound quality to your car. The system has a built-in iGo Primo navigation system with TomTom maps, which has 3 years of free map updates. It is also compatible with the cockpit's driver information, to show turn-by-turn arrows in the navigation. The system also includes the option of online navigation to make use of apps such as Waze, Google Maps, Sygic, Magic Earth via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. With access to the Alpine navigation antenna, the highest position accuracy is provided regardless of whether apps for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto are used.

This generation of Audi System has a much faster quad-core CPU and an increased system memory, which provides a faster route calculation with smooth zoom and scroll function. All system components are designed to fit perfectly into existing installation locations and fully integrate with the vehicle's electronic systems.

HIGH-RESOLUTION TOUCH SCREEN WITH STEERING WHEEL CONTROL AND NEW CONTROL PANEL:

This 7” (17.8 cm) high resolution screen allows full control of the system via touch screen technology and it features the latest video technology providing exceptional image clarity, contrast and resolution. This means that fantastic details are displayed on the navigation map, and that movies and video clips become a real cinematic experience. The screen's interface is very intuitive and is designed for perfect integration into your vehicle.

The Alpine system can be connected to your steering wheel buttons, allowing you to retain this convenient steering wheel control when you upgrade to the X703D-A. The steering wheel control gives you full control over volume, hands-free phone, and much more. You even have the option of activating voice control for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto right from the steering wheel.

The original panel for controlling the sound in the car is replaced by an Alpine panel, which gives direct access to sound sources, navigation, rear camera and the system's many other functions. The control panel is designed for perfect integration into the vehicle dashboard.

WARNING MESSAGES:

Audi uses the main display to show car settings and warning messages (e.g. low oil level). The Alpine system is fully compatible with Audi's electronic systems, and therefore has access to and can display all menus and warnings. It is also possible to view settings for air conditioning and heater, seat heating settings, and much more of the car's original equipment.

SOUND SYSTEM ADAPTER FOR AUDI:

If your Audi is equipped with an Audi sound system (Audi Sound 9VD or B&O 9VK), the adapter KEW-DY01G6 is necessary. It makes it possible to connect the X703D-A to the car's factory-fitted sound system. The adapter is an attenuator which makes sure to match the more powerful Alpine Navigation System with the original (OEM) amplifier.

The system can also be equipped with the KIT-R1AU, which is a camera system that provides greater parking security using advanced camera technology. The reversing camera is activated automatically when you reverse, and not only provides a clear view from behind, but also allows you to see useful distance guides. These distance guides are programmed to exactly match your Audi's measurements, for easier parking.

"BIG SCREEN ENTERTAINMENT":

The Alpine system allows you to enjoy movies, music videos or TV broadcasts from many different sources. It is both possible to play DVDs from the optional DVD player (DVE-5300X), connect a media player via the USB connector, or use the latest smartphones with HDMI output. It is also possible to connect your smartphone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to, for example, Spotify or other entertainment apps. For the sake of driving safety, video playback is only available if the vehicle is not in motion.
